Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat product displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service ability.
- Efficient cash register operation.
- Safe equipment operation and proper cleaning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and handle multiple tasks.
- Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Retail experience is a plus.
