Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the CDL Driver at Albertsons Companies, Inc. involve performing pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, safe and effective loading/unloading, and operating equipment. Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment with instructions
- Conduct truck and trailer inspections as per DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Verify load, destination, and secure proper load securement
- Complete store cleanouts as contracted
- Accurately report hours of service in compliance with regulations
- Document and report any defects on equipment
