The essential functions and basic duties of the CDL Driver at Albertsons Companies, Inc. involve performing pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, safe and effective loading/unloading, and proper operation of equipment. Delivery Drivers are responsible for reviewing paperwork, checking orders, delivering and unloading products using required equipment, and maintaining DOT compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment and instructions
- Conduct pre-trip, inter trip, and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
- Verify load destination and securement, scale load as required
- Follow route plan, meet delivery requirements for each store
- Complete store cleanouts as contracted
- Accurately report hours of service using ELD
