Job Description
The essential functions and basic duties of the Company Driver are to perform pre and post trip inspections of their vehicle, ensuring the safe and effective loading/unloading and proper operation of equipment. As a Delivery Driver, responsibilities include reviewing paperwork, checking orders, delivering, and unloading products using various equipment. Operating the vehicle safely while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and communicating professionally with customers and vendors are crucial.

Responsibilities
- Receive route paperwork, truck, and trailer assignment and follow instructions
- Conduct pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Secure the load and ensure proper load securement
- Complete store cleanouts, receive, and load items for return to the distribution center
- Accurately report hours of service using an electronic logging device
- Document and report any defects or concerns with the vehicle
