Job Description

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing policies and overseeing human resource activities, including employment, compensation, labor relations, and benefits. The position reports directly to the management, and it offers an annual salary ranging from $67,728 to $101,574.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee benefits, administer benefit plans and develop/implement benefit policies and procedures.
  • Represent the organization for unemployment claims and provide employee relations support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and equal opportunity laws.
  • Oversee compensation plans and provide advice on starting salaries to maintain competitiveness in the market.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and ensure privacy and confidentiality of information.
  • Participate in facility committees and work with the Payroll department to ensure accurate processing of payroll.

Minimum Required Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resource management or closely related field and four years of progressively responsible work experience in human resource management/support.

Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of human resource management procedures, employment law, benefits, management, and employee relations.
  • Experience in writing for multiple audiences and using office equipment and software applications.

Necessary Special Requirements

Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to submit to a tuberculosis screening process.
