Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. As an Interventional Radiology Tech, you will play a vital role in providing health care services by utilizing imaging technology to assist in diagnosis or interventional procedures. Your responsibilities will include performing radiographic procedures, practicing sterile techniques, preparing trays, and assisting physicians during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures and related techniques.
- Scrub in with interventional physicians and maintain sterile techniques.
- Assist in the preparation of trays and ensure proper supplies are available.
- Monitor and administer contrast agents following department policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records in medical systems.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Certification in Radiography and Basic Life Support required.
Physical Demands
- Various physical demands including lifting, carrying, bending, and visual acuity.
Location
Work at SITE - Lakeland Hospital St Joseph, Department of Interventional Radiology - St Joseph.
Employment Details
- Full-time position, Day shift with 40 weekly scheduled hours.
- On-call availability on weekends.
