Job Description

Matheny School and Hospital is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Far Hills, NJ Community Residence. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care, coordinate with other staff members, and ensure the well-being of our community residents. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm. As a part of the Matheny team, you will have the opportunity to enrich lives and grow abilities for individuals with special needs and complex developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary nurse for assigned residents.
• Provide skilled nursing care and ensure continuity of care.
• Document all aspects of patients' health care according to requirements.
• Coordinate care with other staff and health professionals.
• Administer medications, assist with activities of daily living, and transport residents to appointments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Minimum of one year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Current Licensed Practical Nursing license issued by New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Valid Driver's License.
