Job Description
We are currently seeking an individual to join Courtyard Flint as part of our maintenance team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment to ensure our facilities are running smoothly. This is a full-time position based in Flint, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Change out light bulbs and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms.
- Conduct maintenance on various equipment such as ice machines, refrigerators, HVAC systems, and more.
- Perform plumbing and electrical repairs as needed, and monitor energy conservation efforts.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, reporting findings to the Front Desk.
- Complete any other assigned tasks by supervisors or managers.
Requirements
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Licensure in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is desirable.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state is a must.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) specific to the property is required.
