Job Description
The Maintenance Technician/Engineer, Level 1, at Residence Inn by Marriott Morgan Hill plays a critical role in ensuring the property is well-maintained to provide unparalleled customer and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, including changing filters and cleaning coils.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as boilers, HVAC, electrical systems, etc.
- Test and record readings on equipment, service cooling towers, and replace televisions, light fixtures, and switches.
- Handle furniture repairs, plumbing issues, water lines, kitchen equipment troubleshooting, and more.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and work in a service-oriented manner.
- Aptitude for problem-solving, maintaining confidentiality, and showing initiative.
Salary
$20 - $22 per hour
