Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a dedicated Full-time Mammography Technologist to join our team at the Breast Care Center in Wayne. As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient mammography exams, demonstrate good clinical skills, and uphold our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality mammography exams following established protocols.
- Operate mammography imaging equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain professional development and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and peers.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
- ARRT certification with additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
