Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for their facility in Tell City, IN. As a leading supplier of iron castings, we are committed to innovation and product quality. Join our team of skilled and dedicated individuals who take pride in their work.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete safety training and comply with departmental safety guidelines.
- Participate in WF's 6-S Program for housekeeping.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions.
- Perform maintenance equipment repairs and tasks.
- Make necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Education or equivalent experience in a maintenance-related field.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Good oral communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work without supervision and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and machine repair.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Successful completion of selection process including interviews, aptitude tests, and pre-employment screenings.
