Mental Health Associate - Alder Creek

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our team at Alder Creek, a 6-bed licensed Residential Treatment Facility located in Milwaukie, Oregon. As a Residential Associate, you will work as part of a direct care team serving adults with serious mental illness, supporting the development of life skills, and performing therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will also include housekeeping, meal preparation, medication administration, and accurate clinical documentation.

Work Schedule

• Friday through Sunday, 11:30am - 10:00pm (Part Time, Swing)
• Wednesday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:30pm (Full Time, Swing)

Salary

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential applies during 10:00pm - 6:00am. A 5% Language Differential is offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Requirements

• Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, requiring a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or a minimum of three years of verifiable behavioral health experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Oregon driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
• Physical ability to talk, listen, use hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. Successful completion of crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings.
