Job Description
Join Boeing as a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer in the Flight Line Mechanical Support Equipment team. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and management of ground support equipment for various Boeing platforms. This position requires expertise in managing the total design, development, manufacturing, and testing of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage project schedules, including EVM performance.
- Collaborate with USAF and USN customers on new mechanical GSE contracts.
- Support customer proposals and develop technical documentation for mechanical support equipment.
- Create and conduct system verification tests.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Oversee external customer deliverables and resolve production anomalies.
This position is hybrid with some onsite work requirements at listed locations. U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship are necessary.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience with military aircraft and navy customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting process chemical and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of integration tooling and manufacturing tooling.
