Job Description

Boeing is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the Direct Attack Weapons software group in St. Charles, MO. This role will focus on supporting the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons program by developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex software solutions for precision guided munition weapon systems.

Join a multi-discipline engineering team to design and implement operational flight software solutions. Responsibilities include participating in all software development lifecycle phases, testing software functionality, troubleshooting defects, and working directly with US Air Force and Navy customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions
  • Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment
  • Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python
  • Test software and assist system level testing
  • Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects
  • Develop leadership skills and work with US Air Force and Navy customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 3+ years' experience in embedded real-time software development
  • Experience in software development using Object-Oriented principles
  • Proficient in Ada, Python, or C# programming
  • Experience in Agile software development and team collaboration

Salary Range: $104,550 - $141,450
