Job Description

At Boeing, we are looking for a talented Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the Direct Attack Weapons software group in St. Charles, MO. This role focuses on supporting the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) weapons program by developing, integrating, testing, and delivering complex software solutions for precision guided munition weapon systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to create and implement Operational Flight Program software solutions.
  • Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
  • Develop solutions using Ada, C#, and Python.
  • Test software and assist in system level testing to verify functionality.
  • Analyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Develop leadership skills and gain experience working directly with US Air Force and Navy customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development using Object-Oriented principles.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded real-time software development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Ada, Python, or C# programming.
  • Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.
  • Experience in Agile software development and professional team environments.
