Job Description
The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of MQ-25 Vehicle Management System (VMS) Software Lead Engineer in Hazelwood, MO. This role focuses on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization in the development of complex avionics software for the MQ-25A Stingray, the world's first operational, carrier-based unmanned aircraft. The selected candidate will play a key role in leading software development activities, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex software architectures, requirements, interfaces, and designs
- Code development and integration of software components
- Create software verification plans and test procedures
- Provide technical leadership for software projects
- Research and develop software projects
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong programming experience in C++ and Ada
- Experience developing embedded real-time software
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
