Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented Systems Engineers to join our Air Dominance team in the St. Louis, Missouri region. The Air Dominance team develops some of the most dynamic and technically engaging defense platforms and mission capabilities in the industry. As a systems engineer on a BDS program, you will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Position Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering throughout the full program lifecycle using traditional and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods.
• Assist with definition of high-level functional and performance requirements, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation.
• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and simulation to develop system definitions/architectures and perform trade studies.
• Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of work.

Depending on the program assigned, this position may require 100% work on-site at one of the listed locations or may allow some telecommuting (St. Louis region sites).

Basic Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor's, Master's, or a PhD degree in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field.
• 1 or more years of relevant engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills

• Experience in applying engineering processes and principles.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with modeling or simulating systems.
• Experience in system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation.
• Experience with product/systems development and integration.
• Experience with systems engineering tools, schedules, and metrics.
• Technical system domain knowledge, experience in technical engineering leadership, and current Department of Defense Security Clearance are preferred.

Salary: Level 2 - $81,600 - $110,400; Level 3 - $97,750 - $132,250; Level 4 - $119,850 – 162,150

Relocation is based on candidate eligibility. This position is for 1st shift. Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace.
