Job Description
We are looking for a passionate New Grad Registered Nurse to join our team at Grace Medical Center's Emergency Department. As a member of our healthcare staff, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide essential care to patients. This full-time position requires a weekend commitment, with various shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Nurse in assessing patient conditions and diagnostic information.
- Provide care for patients' daily living activities and medical treatments following established procedures.
- Administer medications, perform IV insertions and phlebotomy, and monitor vital signs.
- Respond to emergency situations like Code Blue and perform CPR when necessary.
Requirements
- Graduate of a registered nursing or practical nursing program approved by the board.
- Maintain current BLS certification and demonstrate good communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to learn and use the ConnectCare system.
