Job Description
We are looking to hire a dedicated New Grad Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Grace Medical Center, located in Baltimore, MD. As a full-time Staff Nurse, you will provide direct and indirect care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves assisting with patient assessments, performing essential care activities, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety. Additionally, you will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, collaborating to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient assessments and provide nursing care according to established protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and actively participate in patient care planning.
- Respond to emergency codes and provide CPR when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain emergency equipment in proper working condition.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
- Valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records such as ConnectCare system.
