New Grad Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Grace Medical Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated New Grad Registered Nurse to join our team at Grace Medical Center's Emergency Department. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to patients. You will be responsible for assisting with patient assessments, performing various nursing care activities, attending multi-disciplinary rounds, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing patient clinical condition and diagnostic information.
• Provide individual patient care according to established Plan of Care and standards of practice.
• Attend multi-disciplinary rounds and collaborate with team members.
• Administer medications and perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring.
• Respond to emergency codes such as Code Blue and perform CPR when necessary.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Board-approved nursing education program.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use the ConnectCare system.
