Job Description
We are looking for a passionate New Grad Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Grace Medical Center, part of LifeBridge Health. In this full-time role with a weekend commitment, you will work various shifts with flexible hours. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide essential nursing care to a diverse group of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist in patient assessments, perform treatments, administer medications, and respond to emergencies, ensuring the well-being of those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing care activities following established protocols and standards.
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Maintain emergency equipment and respond to codes such as CPR.
- Ensure patient safety and satisfaction throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Board-approved nursing education program.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize the ConnectCare system.
