Part Time Companion Care Giver

Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Part Time Companion Caregivers to join our Bishop Gadsden at Home Department team. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide in-home support to clients, focusing on promoting independence, mobility, and overall well-being, with a special emphasis on emotional and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry services.
• Attend to appointment scheduling and transportation needs.
• Observe and report any changes in client condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Document client care accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of companion or caregiving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel in Charleston County.
