Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate team at NurseCore Management Services LLC in the Las Vegas/Henderson and North Las Vegas areas. As a Pediatric RN, you will play a vital role in providing care to children ranging from infants to 18 years of age, ensuring their well-being and health.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise patient-specific comprehensive assessments and care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding the disease process and care needs.
- Collaborate with the patient's care team, including physicians, supervisors, and other medical providers.
- Participate in educational programs related to the patient population.
- Mentor and educate co-workers.
- Record and report changes in patients' conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families for mentoring, advice, and instructions.
- Update physicians and clinical directors on the patients' medical conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Nevada.
- 1 year of RN experience in a supervised setting within the last 3 years, or eligibility for and completion of the Nurse Residency Program.
- Current CPR certification and negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months.
- Successful completion of skills assessment relevant to experience.
