The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Real Time Software Engineer (Level 2) for a Proprietary program located in Berkeley, MO. This position will be in support of developing Mission Systems software for the Bombers & Fighters Division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), with close working relationships with the Phantom Works and Autonomous Systems organizations. We work in a casual but professional environment with multi-disciplined teams of engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
- Develop and maintain code, integrate software components, and support test procedures.
- Work under general supervision and troubleshoot software issues.
- Support software project and supplier management functions, document processes, tools, and metrics.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship. Basic Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in relevant fields and 2+ years of programming experience in various languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with embedded real-time software and mission systems on aircraft platforms.
- Knowledge of Open Architecture standards, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance and program access.
This role offers relocation for eligible candidates and is located on the 1st shift. The pay range is $85,000 - $115,000. Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
