Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Associate, Level 2) or (Experienced, Level 3) or (Lead or Senior, Level 4) for advanced aircraft development programs located in Hazelwood, MO.

BDS Proprietary programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. Responsibilities

  • Develops, integrates, and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools.
  • Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution, and analyzes/test results to validate systems and components.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Astronautical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Finite Element Models (FEM) and tools (NASTRAN/PATRAN).
  • 2+ years’ experience with design or analysis of metallic and composite structures.
