Job Description

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division is looking for a Phantom Works Proprietary Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team in Hazelwood, MO. This role involves developing, integrating, and documenting structural requirements to establish system design, guiding product design, verifying structural integrity, and collaborating with other engineering groups. The position requires candidates who thrive in a fast-paced culture, set high standards, and deliver results to achieve the unthinkable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design.
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity through analytical methods and finite element models/simulations.
  • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.
  • Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze/test results for validation.
  • Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Astronautical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Finite Element Models (FEM) and design/analysis of metallic and composite structures.

Salary

Summary Pay Range: $76,500 - $103,500 (Associate, Level 2) | $95,200 - $128,800 (Experienced, Level 3) | $115,600 - $156,400 (Lead or Senior, Level 4)
