Principal Product Owner

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a dynamic Principal Product Owner to join our innovative team. As the Principal Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of product outcomes that meet stakeholder and customer needs. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, define product features, establish KPIs, build product backlogs, and drive product quality and performance. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to align product vision, features, and roadmap
• Define KPIs and OKRs, create and maintain product documentation, and establish non-functional requirements
• Build and prioritize product backlog, ensure compliance and quality standards, and validate user story acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with business technology to optimize system components and infrastructure maintenance
• Foster a culture of accountability and ownership within the product team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical or related field
• Experience with card personalization EMV standards and manufacturing exposure is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay ranges from $110,500.00 to $154,900.00, with additional incentives and competitive benefits package including Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision, and more.
