Job Description

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance Division is seeking a Structural Design Engineer (P5) for advanced aircraft development programs. This role involves developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements, as well as coordinating with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements.
• Maintain and modify structural and interior payload system designs using 3-D Computer-Aided Design tools.
• Perform tests to validate and verify systems meet requirements.
• Manage supplier development, test, and production activities.
• Support investigation of emerging technologies for future product designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering.
• Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications.
• Experience in structural design on military aerospace products.
• Experience leading projects or teams.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite and requires U.S. Citizenship to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.
• Experience with Full Size Determinant Assembly and programming with FiberSim/Composite Workbench.

Summary Pay Range (Senior, Level 5): $134,300 - $181,700
