Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. As a full-time Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. You will adhere to radiation protection principles, demonstrate excellent clinical skills, and uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols for malfunctions or quality control issues.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
