Job Description

General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform diagnostic exams with accuracy and efficiency in various areas of general radiology. Your responsibilities will include ensuring patient safety, communicating effectively with medical staff, and providing exceptional patient care.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols in case of malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Valid CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration from ARRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.
