General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while applying radiation protection principles and complying with regulations. You will also provide clinical instruction and uphold our Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with patient verification.
- Acquire patient history and monitor patient safety.
- Conduct radiographic procedures using appropriate methods.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and personnel.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control policies.
- Provide procedural information to patients and families.
- Assist in training and maintain competency in all areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-R required upon hire.
- CRT-Registration required within 180 days.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
