Job Description

General Summary
The Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams under supervision, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to principles of radiation protection and regulations. They also provide clinical instruction, apply Patient and Family Centered Care principles, and maintain equipment and exam rooms.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams and document patient history.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and communicate effectively.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow quality control.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and contribute to department operations.
- Maintain competency in assigned areas and assist in training.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
