Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Radiology Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis, working days. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. This role requires good clinical skills, adherence to radiation protection principles, compliance with regulations, and a dedication to patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for radiographic procedures.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure compliance with policies.
- Contribute to department operations by assisting colleagues and maintaining quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
