Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring high-quality imaging for interpretation. You will adhere to radiation protection principles, comply with regulations, and uphold our commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician order.
- Acquire patient history and monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Conduct radiographic and patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods.
- Effectively operate diagnostic imaging equipment and ensure compliance with quality assurance.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and stock of exam rooms.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
