Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Providence Support Services Inc. As an RN, you will be responsible for supporting nurses' professional duties, ensuring healthcare coordination for program participants, and complying with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Summary of Duties
The RN will play a crucial role in documentation, medication supervision, completing reports, and attending program participant appointments. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals and staff to guarantee the well-being and safety of program participants.
Primary Responsibilities
- Abide by agency policies and procedures.
- Supervise medication administration and storage.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Attend program participant appointments and maintain medical records.
- Monitor program participant's health needs and medication.
Education and Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess a current RN licensure, have a minimum of 1 year of related experience, and be 21 years of age or older. Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic equipment is essential.
Working Conditions
The position involves administrative office work, attending appointments, and visiting residential facilities. The RN must be able to respond to on-call requirements promptly and handle physical exertion as needed.
Classification and Supervision
This is a Salaried Exempt Position overseeing direct care staff, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs, reporting to the Healthcare Coordinator and Executive Director.
