Job Description
Boeing is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join the team in Saint Charles or Hazelwood, MO. This role involves leading Support Equipment (SE) software engineers in the design, development, integration, and testing of software products for various applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel resources for a fully staffed and trained team
- Drive technical planning and execution, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Provide guidance on Software Engineering Design Practices and other engineering excellence initiatives
- Interface with customers for program software support
- Support Program Management Reviews and Systems Engineering Technical Reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer, Software, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a software leadership role
- 5+ years of experience in developing and managing software within a team environment
