Join our Phantom Works team in Berkeley, Missouri, as a Mid-Level, Senior or Lead Software System Safety Engineer. The selected candidate will provide technical guidance and perform critical system safety engineering work, planning, coordinating, and performing detailed System Safety tasks to mitigate potential product safety hazards.
Responsibilities
- Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to system design and development
- Evaluate customer needs, define system performance requirements, and integrate technical parameters
- Perform various analyses to optimize system architecture and ensure mission success
- Develop and monitor requirements management processes, risk management, and technology readiness assessment processes
- Resolve multi-functional technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of job experience as a software engineer
