Special Procedure Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's dynamic team. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, ensuring quality patient-centered care throughout the process. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, performing IV starts, operating equipment, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to patients during Heart and/or Vascular procedures.
• Perform IV starts, monitor hemodynamics, and operate equipment.
• Document procedures and provide patient/family education.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) for Interventional Radiology or relevant healthcare training for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
• Certifications such as BLS and ACLS required, depending on the specialty.
• Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
