Job Description
Join Corewell Health as a Special Procedure Tech! In this full-time position, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians, performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, and educating patients and families.
Essential Duties
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and participate in On Call per department schedule.
Qualifications
- Educational background in radiography or cardiovascular technology.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, RT, RCES/RCIS as per department requirements.
- Strong computer, math, communication, and customer service skills.
