Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring quality patient-centered care throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and operate equipment.
- Document procedures and educate patients and families as needed.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance for technical equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, along with other relevant certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
