Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Special Procedure Tech to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures at Corewell Health. This role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, performing IV starts, managing vascular access sites, and delivering patient/family education. The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of Interventional experience and be proficient in various technical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance on equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- BLS and ACLS certification, RT-CV or VI registration, and other relevant certifications.
- Expertise in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or EP Lab procedures.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
