Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health's dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams, ensuring high-quality imaging for interpretation. As a key member of our team, you will uphold Corewell Health's commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and physician orders.
• Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
• Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment proficiently and perform quality control tests.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with Radiologists for image review.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
• Utilize hospital computer systems effectively for order verification and information sharing.
• Participate in training new staff/students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
• Registered by ARDMS or Registry eligible.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
