Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasonographer to join Corewell Health as a full-time team member. As an Ultrasonographer, you will perform accurate and efficient ultrasound exams under the guidance of the site leader, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. Your responsibilities will include verifying patient identification, acquiring patient history, operating ultrasound equipment, monitoring patient safety during procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized exam room.
Essential Duties
- Perform accurate and efficient ultrasound exams.
- Verify patient identification and physician order.
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment proficiently.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the exam room.
Standard Qualifications
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent.
- Minimal work experience required.
- Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
