1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, raise safety concerns, and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and success drive.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of basic arithmetic and working both independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
