Job Description
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly qualified Executive Director for the Late Development Team Lead position in Oncology. The role is crucial in leading the Late Development Team (LDT) to establish and execute global product strategies, integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects. The ideal candidate will balance innovation and risk management to drive product development towards approval.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide cross-functional LDT(s) through the product lifecycle from POC to approval.
- Develop a strategic vision for the product aligning with Jazz's mission.
- Collaborate with key functional areas to identify global development opportunities.
- Establish and oversee Integrated Product Development Plans (iPDPs).
- Mentor team members, provide strategic guidance, and promote team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 15+ years of global drug development experience with a focus on late-stage programs.
- Demonstrated success in leading strategic multi-functional environments.
- Experience in late-phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Proven ability to manage collaborations and alliances effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- MD, PhD, or PharmD degree required.
