Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology

Job Description

We are hiring an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will be part of the Jazz Oncology Medical Affairs Team, supporting US Medical Affairs activities related primarily to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). You will work closely with cross-functional partners, provide scientific expertise, and ensure that medical tactics are executed with the highest integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain non-promotional, evidence-based, and balanced scientific and educational programs for HER2+ target therapy.
• Provide key support for GEA strategic initiatives and contribute to Medical and Promotional review.
• Collaborate with Patient Advocacy groups to ensure medical accuracy of presentation materials.
• Meet all administrative and compliance-related activities within policy and on-time.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare/academic industry experience.
• Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
• Excellent presentation skills and credibility within the medical community.
• Experience in analyzing clinical-medical trial data and working in a cross-functional team environment.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.

Travel Requirements

• 20-30% domestic travel.
