Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Medical Science Liaison to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to innovating and transforming the lives of patients. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as the primary field-based scientific expert for Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products in the therapeutic area of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining scientific relationships, facilitating scientific development of pipeline compounds, and ensuring compliant and successful scientific communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based scientific exchange and communication of FDA approved and pipeline products.
• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with opinion leaders.
• Support clinical operations and investigator initiated research.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

• Effective communication of scientific data to internal and external customers.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.

Education and Experience

• Advanced doctorate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical/research.
• Experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, or related fields preferred.
