Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store order requirements.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
- Perform all tasks efficiently and within company procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments.
