1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards for safety and cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipments efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to uphold warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes and maintain product quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.

Job Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies such as conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency. Additionally, candidates should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in warehouse operations or similar environments is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

This position requires lifting items up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, standing, bending, and operating powered industrial equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working in various temperature conditions.
