1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level team member. As part of our team, you will efficiently manage incoming stock, relocate merchandise, load and unload shipments, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and collaborate effectively with peers and leadership. This position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product for quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
